Tom Del Prete describes our united vision on behalf of the Worcester Education Equity Roundtable.
The Reading Ambassadors held their fourth and final session of the series with a festive, heart-filled graduation celebration that beautifully embodied the mission of WEC and the FACES team: fostering community connection and creating inclusive, supportive environments where families can grow through the joy of reading.
The Reading Ambassadors Program met for its third session on June 10th and, once more, the evening was filled with joy, enthusiasm, and community connections.
WEC at Fifteen: A Retrospective is the first of two publications about our organization that together will review what we have accomplished and look ahead at what is to come in this continuing work.
Dr. Rachel Monárrez is a true educator—one who knows that teaching and learning are not about compliance, but about transformation; one who understands that the work of the schools is not just about the children, but also the adults; one who is confident that the work on behalf of our children is not only about what happens during the school day, but the shared responsibility of the entire community.
