Enshrined in the nation’s founding documents is the phrase “all men are created equal and endowed with unalienable rights.” Flowing from these assertions is the Worcester Education Collaborative’s belief that every child — no matter their race, immigration status, gender identity, socioeconomic background or ability — deserves access to a sound education to allow them to grow into the engaged, informed citizens that our country sorely needs. The concepts of diversity, equity and inclusion in education advance the work toward that goal.
